II. Survey Summary
Mary reviewed the results of membership survey completed in December (survey results can be found on our blog: http://ellens-degenerates.blogspot.com/). Comments from survey included suggestions on having meetings at homes as opposed to MNCC – as this was a 50/50 split group agreed to continue as is.

Participants had some interesting companies to review such as Suncor, Caterpillar, BMO, RIM, CNQ, LLL, CP, Zipcar, Starbucks, ARTIS.UN. Group decided to list these and review their progress at our next meeting. Mary has created an excel spreadsheet which can be accessed through the Ellensdegenerates document site.
IV. Stock Report
Mary provided information on Saputo – summary can be accessed on Ellensdegenerates document site.
V. Reviewed 2012 Canadian Dividend Aristocrats List
Ellen Roseman sent us a link to a newsletter Boomer & Echo if you would like to access this info
Meena recommended the book “Seasonal Market Trends” and she offered to use this information to categorize the list of Dividend Aristocrats by season. She will have this available for our next meeting in March.
VI. Next meeting topics:
Luke offered to research information on social networking trends and IPOs such as Facebook. We’ll look forward to an interesting discussion on this.
As well, members will come prepared to discuss their stock buying/selling activity using the Stock Review form as a guideline for discussions.
THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR A VERY INFORMATIVE AND FUN MEETING!!!!
