He used to work with the late Peter Cundill at Mackenzie Funds. I’ve invited him as a guest speaker to my investing class in the past. Since 1996, the McElvaine Value Fund has a strategy of looking for a 60% discount on a quality stock. The investment approach is categorized as a small cap value blend.
