Keith will give us a 30-minute guide to technical analysis as an investing tool. Then he will take questions from members about stocks you are watching and tell you whether it’s a good time to buy or sell them.

He’s an advocate of using self-made dividends in retirement. Please read this in advance and come prepared to argue in favour or against his piece or simply ask questions about it.

What are self-made dividends?
    1. Simply sell a bit of your investments
    2. Can be every month
    3. You choose the amount
    4. Can be automatic with some investments
    5. E.g., mutual funds or portfolio managers
    6. Only withdraw when you need cash
    7. Very tax-efficient
    8. You need cash flow, not income
    9. Income is taxable cash flow

He is also an author of  six books on personal financial issues , including three national bestsellers. He was a columnist for CPA Magazine from 2014 to 2018 and spoke to a meeting of our club about a decade ago.
