Wed Feb 20, 2013 | 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm, and PDAC (Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada) Conference March 3-6, 2013, Metro Toronto Convention Centre)
·         Chair noted some investing resources (Toronto Public Library speakers, World Money Show presentations and videos, and articles on when to take CPP)

Presentation: How to DRIP: Ronnie Saragosa, Jennifer Brisebois, Toronto DRIP Club


Our guests described their own experiences in beginning investing and lessons they learned from using DRIPs.  Topics included such matters as the different ways small investors can begin DRIPs and the role of brokerages and transfer agents, practical matters such as what to expect when one goes to a bank for attestation, options for transferring stock to registered accounts, and reporting and tax requirements for Canadian and US DRIPS.  There was an extensive question and answer session.
